Art crushes. Like people crushes but only better. That glorious moment when you're scrolling through your Instagram feed and suddenly you stumble upon an image that stops you in your tracks and you just know that it is the beginning of something beautiful. You can't get enough and you fall down the rabbit hole of hashtags and hyperlinks.

Working in the art world, we have the privilege of spending a lot of time admiring art. We see a lot of it. Our lunchtime conversation often turns towards our collective art crushes of the moment and we thought that we'd share some with you!

Dan Lam

You may have seen the work of Texas-based Dan Lam popping up all over social media recently and we're sure that you are just as obsessed as we are. What's not to love about these oozy creations? They embody the perfect combination of satisfyingly squishy, oddly eerie and give off an aura of living organisms.

Dan Lam has a BFA from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University. She recently opened a solo exhibition titled Coquette at Fort Works Art in Fort Worth Texas that looks amazing! You can follow her on Instagram under @sopopomo - trust us, you won't regret it!

How great is it when you finally get to see one of your art crushes in person? Lucky for us, we will be receiving pieces from Dan Lam soon!
