Peter Andrew Lusztyk: Behind the Scenes

It is a rare privilege to get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek into an artist's creative space. Peter Andrew Lusztyk has graciously allowed us to share some wonderful shots of his studio, taken by Cody Greco. How beautiful is this space!?

Peter Andrew Lusztyk is a freelance photographer from Toronto, Canada known for his over-sized and extremely detailed photographs. His pieces are intended to allow the viewer to observe vantage points normally unavailable to them, as with his highway series or close-up shots of guns, or to observe details that might normally have gone unnoticed, such as with his Loonie.

"I try to make things that are amazing. That's really the goal. Photography for me is the process of turning ordinary or overlooked things into something that causes you to pause and examine and make your eyes explode because it's so incredibly beautiful. I want to take you there I want to show you - I want to make you see the world the way I see it." (Peter Andrew Lusztyk)

He explains that he is just as comfortable shooting in the studio or out the side of a helicopter, as he did while photographing the highway images. You can see Peter in action in this short video. His work is absolutely stunning and we are so happy to have him as a part of the Station 16 family!
